What we ask of you:


Agape Development is seeking a summer intern to assist with housing program applicants and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, administratively gifted, and interested in affordable housing, community development, or nonprofit work. The intern will receive training and gain hands-on experience in the affordable housing process.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist homebuyers in completing applications for various housing programs.
  • Provide on-site support and logistics for monthly evening credit class.
  • Input new applicant information into Smartsheet.
  • Follow up with interested applicants via phone and email.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling applicant information.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to assist applicants with documentation and program requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Our requirements for you as an applicant:


  • Some college coursework or relevant experience in case management, customer service, or administrative support.
  • Experience with Excel and general data entry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Google Suite.
  • Strong soft skills: patience, confidentiality, computer proficiency, and problem-solving.
  • Training will be provided; prior knowledge of housing programs is not required.
