Facilities Assistant

- Full Time Compensation of $32,000 - $36,000 per year (paid hourly). Plus full benefits.
The Facilities Assistant must demonstrate a high level of trustworthiness, handling access to vehicles, facilities, and technology. The candidate must be a quick learner of the different tasks, technologies, schedules, and changing responsibilities of the role. Candidates should be able to handle requests coming from many different places at the same time, knowing how to prioritize and multi-task. Regular work schedule will be Monday - Friday, but occasional evening and weekend work, including on-call hours, will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the grounds including mowing, weeding, trash removal, application of pest control
- For 3 facilities and 33 housing units, perform minor to medium repairs and maintenance like AC filter changes, painting, changing locks, etc.
- Maintain a small fleet of 4-5 vehicles, including cleaning, inspections, oil changes, etc.
- Be part of the team that answers after hours emergencies related to tenants and facilities.
Our requirements for you as an applicant:
- Must have a driver's license and be insurable.
- Basic knowledge of tools and comfortable with manual labor
- Must have 3 years of work experience, preferably in the industry
- High School Diploma or equivalency
